“The mask held sacred significance long before it became synonymous with deception.”

Special thanks to Shaina for setting up this amazing day.

Over the past few years, I’ve changed the way I set my intentions for the new year. Gone are new year’s resolutions! Instead, I’ve replaced them with words that are calling deeply to my soul. So, I thought this would be a fun process to share with you, alongside my words for 2022, in a new, mid season podcast. Head to the place you get your podcasts and search for “Wholly Human” to listen now.

What words are you embracing in 2022? I would LovE to hear yours 🤍

Hotelier Stefan Ashkenazy finds magic in the circus, in “its way of engaging the public with wonder, awe, and fantasy,” as the Los Angeles native describes it. So, when he opened Petit Ermitage with his brother Adrian in 2008—after years living in China and Russia— naturally the whimsical, well-hidden West Hollywood hotel exuded an outlandish spirit of its own. Circus stars are “people who come from an imaginary world, and when the show’s over, they disappear behind the curtain,” Ashkenazy says.

Ashkenazy's other projects include @elsewherecalifornia (pictured), a private estate and biodynamic farm available for rent in the Santa Monica Mountains; a Joshua Tree, California compound for private rental; and the Last Resort. #hospitalitydesign #hdmag

Our intention is SO POWERFUL! It sets the energy, the tone, the frequency in which we move, in which we do the thing we have set out to do, in which we LIVE!

I have been playing around with this idea lately, especially with music and my voice. I’ve built a daily practice of offering up my voice to creation with the intention of deep gratitude for my gift, even if it’s just making sound for a few minutes, no words needed. This practice has begun to bleed over into every part of my life, even what I am writing now, because I am writing with gratitude for the gift of communication and in service of creation and what is wanting to be spoken through me. I offer up my workouts in gratitude for a healthy body that has the ability to be agile and strong. Literally, our whole life can be lived from this place, every act performed and crafted of deep, heart felt gratitude and devotion. For me, it’s the biggest shift out of my head and judgement, into my heart and joy! I am humbled and in awe of all that I am, all that WE are.

I have two practices that I would like to share with you this week. On Tuesday, Dec 21st I will be inviting the sweet LovEs that have purchased a La Fréquence "Amen" holiday candle, to join me for a live chant with our candles. You’ll receive information on this later today.

I'll also be live on Instagram with my trainer @impactonefitness to share our 2021 Tight Tushmas, 12 days of Christmas work out with you, on Wednesday, Dec 22nd at 9am PST. So, come break a sweat with us and have some fun!

I must say, I really get into meal planning. I plan our meals for the coming week, every weekend. I LOVE finding recipes and trying new things in the kitchen. Sometimes, it can be a bit of a challenge, finding meals that everyone in our house will LovE. I do cook fairly healthy, which can be a little less than exciting for a 14 years old’s tastebuds. But, for the most part, I’ve found a way to strike a balance for everyone.

Winter is one of my favorite seasons for many reasons, one of them being the yummy, comfort food that comes along with the season. So, I thought I would share with you some of my recipe finds that are currently in heavy rotation at our house. They are also 100% teenager approved! Hope you in-joy, in health and gratitude ~ link in stories
