Sometimes the best conversations happen on a bar bench in Tally with your daughter keeping it real.💞
While I’m over here trying to keep all my ducks in a row and hold everything together, she’s reminding me what’s important:
“Mom, it’s all good in the hood.”
And honestly? She’s right.
Life gets heavy. We worry about things we can’t control, try to fix everything, and forget to enjoy the moment. Meanwhile, the ducks are out having fun, side questing. 🦆😂
Tonight’s reminder was to slow down, laugh a little more, and appreciate a good night of MadLibs and what keeps us grounded.

As we close out the month of March, I want to take a moment to reflect on something deeply personal to our family.

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, and for us, it carries a meaning that goes far beyond a calendar. My son is living with a traumatic brain injury, and every single day we witness his strength, his resilience, and the quiet courage it takes to keep moving forward. This journey is not an easy one…but it is filled with love, growth, and moments that remind us what truly matters.

What makes this even more meaningful is the love that surrounds him, especially from his older sister @elsiecasella9. The bond they share is something special, and seeing her recognize him, stand beside him, and dedicate her own words to him is something I will never take for granted. It’s a reminder that even in the hardest moments, we are never alone. She’s the strongest person I know💝

To my son @vinnie_casella. You are stronger than most people will ever understand. You inspire me every day.

And to Elsie..your love, compassion, and support mean more than words can say.

As we step into a new month, we carry this awareness with us….not just in March, but every day.💚. #tbiawareness #tbisurvivor #suriviror #bestsistersever #tbi
