50mm tyres on a gravel bike. Have we gone too far? That’s almost 2 inches of rubber (1.97” to be precise!) on Jade, my new @elves_bikes_uk Mori GTX. I’m running @panaraceruk GravelKing X1s in 700x50mm, and looking at this photo, we’re definitely getting into mountain bike territory! But is bigger always better? More comfort, more grip and more confidence on rough terrain sounds great, but where’s the sweet spot between speed and capability? I’m curious, what width tyres are you running on your gravel bike, and would you go wider or narrower? #gravelcycling #elvesbike #panaracer #gravelbikes #cyclingscotland

‼️RACE WITH ATTITUDE‼️🙌😁😄 While there are many things that are out of control as athletes, our ATTITUDE is NOT one of them! You may never have a perfect race, but you can have a race in which you had a PERFECT ATTITUDE 🙏!! While physical fitness, training, volume, and proper nutrition provide the engine, your mental attitude and resilience determine how well you can access and sustain that engine when discomfort, pain, and fatigue set in! Checkout @rocketsciencesports if you are looking for the best training and racing apparel! Let me know if you any questions and I’d be happy to answer them!! Don’t worry Floss, you’ve not been replaced! There’s a new bike in the family, and she’s already getting plenty of attention, but let’s not forget the pink machine that’s carried me on so many adventures! Still turning heads, still putting a smile on my face, and still looking absolutely stunning in pink! 🩷 The new @elves_bikes_uk Mori GTX might be getting all the excitement just now, but Floss has more than earned her place in the GBScotland stable. Anyone else feel slightly guilty when a new bike arrives and the others get a little less attention? 😂👇 #gbscotland #elvesbike #newbikeday #roadcycling #cyclinglife

SHE’S HERE… BUT YOU’LL HAVE TO WAIT! After weeks of waiting, my new @elves_bikes_uk Mori GTX has finally arrived! Unfortunately, the Scottish weather hasn’t quite received the new bike memo! So while the proper reveal will have to wait, I thought I’d show you one of the clever wee features that’s already caught my attention! A hidden storage compartment built right into the downtube! Perfect for keeping those little ride essentials tucked away without cluttering up the bike. It’s the little details that make a difference! Now I just need the rain to disappear so I can show you the rest of this beauty! Anyone else refuse to take a brand new bike out in the rain, or am I just being precious? #elvesbike #elvesbikes #newbikeday #gravelbikes #gravelcycling
