Happy Tuesday | Quotes by: Sean

What if you stopped asking yourself, “How can I work harder?” And start asking, “Where can I become more aligned?” 🤔

Alignment has a way of changing how we move through life.

An aligned life doesn’t require you to@constantly over exert your physical, mental, or emotional@energy just to make things happen. Alignment creates space for natural gifts, abilities, discernment, and inner wisdom to shine through. ✨

We’re exhausted not because we’re doing too little, but because we’re pouring energy into places, relationships, strategies, or expectations that are no longer aligned with who we’re becoming.

Alignment brings you into clarity.

It helps you recognize what deserves your energy, what needs to be released, and where your efforts can produce greater impact.

Alignment is not about perfection. It’s about positioning.

Happy Tuesday!

Tuesday Inspiration | Quotes by: Sean

This season carries the vibrational energy of alignment, certainty, clarity, fulfillment, and swift victories. The heavy lifting required of you in the last season has completed its assignment. You have already endured, stretched, learned, and prepared.

Now, you are entering a season where you will witness aligned connections coming together, distortions being removed, long-awaited desires finding fulfillment, and one victory unfolding after another.

You don’t have to force what has already been aligned for you. You don’t have to struggle to hold together what this season has been designed to release. Trust that everything out of place is being removed, and everything meant for you is finding its way into position.

You can breathe. You can rest. You can release the pressure to understand how it will happen.

Watch and see what unfolds before your eyes. This is your season of alignment, ease, and fulfillment.

Stay ready!

Man, I LOVE 90’s R&B 😮‍💨🔥🎹🤎

A lot of these sitcom flips I’ve been doing are really inspired by that era 📺🎹✨

And If you know, you KNOW 👀😂😏

Spirit Sunday | Quotes by: Sean

There is nothing wrong with creating plans, setting intentions, and imagining how you would like your life to unfold. That vision is part of the creative process. Our plans are often shaped by what we can currently see, feel, and understand.

The Divine sees the beginning, the middle, and the end. The Divine knows what will@align with your purpose, protect your peace, and fulfill your soul in ways you may not have imagined.

Prophetic Insight:
Loosen your grip on how everything must happen. Stay open to a higher plan and prepare your heart and mind for the ULTIMATE to enter your life. You are worthy of the ULTIMATE in love, health, peace, purpose, abundance, and every beautiful form.

Let go. Trust the Divine. Welcome the ULTIMATE. 🙏🏽

Happy Spirit Sunday!

Friday Inspiration | Quotes by: Sean

Your signature is more than your name. It is the unique imprint you leave on the world. 🌎

Every conversation you have, every decision you make, and every room you enter carries the power to influence lives. Your presence, your character, and your purpose all speak long before you say a word.

Don’t underestimate the authority you’ve been entrusted with. The gifts, wisdom, and light you carry were never meant to be hidden. They were meant to make a difference.

As you continue discovering who you are, pay attention to the new doors 🚪 opening, the lives you’re impacting, and the opportunities unfolding.

They’re reminders that your unique signature is already leaving a mark.

Walk with confidence. Lead with integrity. Leave a legacy that reflects the best of who you are.

Happy Finally Friday! ✨

What a way to kick off ESSENCE Festival Week 💛

Thank you to every content creator, speaker, partner, sponsor, volunteer, and team member who helped make The Link Up: Creator House Edition such a special evening! The room was filled with intentional content creators who came to learn, connect, collaborate, and celebrate one another. We shared ideas, had honest conversations, built new relationships, and created the kind of energy that reminds us why community matters!

The vision behind The Link Up: Creator House Edition was simple: create a space where local content creators feel seen, supported, and connected while highlighting the growing content creator economy in New Orleans.

Content creators play an important role in how people discover restaurants, events, experiences, products, and brands. They help shape conversations, influence purchasing decisions, drive tourism, and generate excitement around major moments like ESSENCE Festival. This evening was about recognizing that impact while creating opportunities for creators and brands to build meaningful relationships that last far beyond one week!

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible partners for believing in this vision:
@sproutsocial @myafricanpride @levelwaterco @att @takearecess @waterboycan @eventsbystepsevents

Many of you know @thenolacollective as a digital media platform, but experiences like this are also a reflection of the strategic agency side of our business. We partner with brands looking to authentically connect with New Orleans by developing local market strategies, building community partnerships, connecting them with trusted content creators and organizations, producing impactful experiences, and creating campaigns that lead to lasting community engagement.

Thank you again to every speaker, vendor, photographer, videographer, volunteer, venue partner, and creative who helped bring this vision to life. It truly took a village, and we’re excited to continue building spaces that invest in our city’s creative community.

See you at the next LinkUp 🤍

What Invisible Chains Have You Trapped!!
We can become prisoners of our past experiences not allowing us to proceed and progress forward…

As the GREAT HOV once said:

“Time doesn’t go back it Goes Forward!
Can’t run from the pain Go Towards it!”

Maybe it’s time to embrace where we are today,
so that we can change into who GOD wants us to become Tomorrow!

Break the chains. Heal. Move forward. Your future is waiting. ⛓️➡️✨

It was truly an honor to cover @aaccnj #Juneteenth Innovation Expo. Peace to all of the founders and operators that conversed with me! My favorite part about being a journalist is that I get to learn from everyone that I interview.

Heres what I walked away with:
- Showing up is the whole game. The pitch can be perfected. You gotta walk through that door 1st!
- Reach back. Every seasoned founder in that room was already pulling someone up.
- Community is infrastructure.
- Own your narrative before somebody writes it for you.
- Proximity closes gaps. Connect with those that have ALREADY done what you’re seeking to do.
- Each one teach one.
- I love Philly… and Cherry Hill

We worshipped with him. Traveled with him. Studied under him. And we were missing him and reflecting on the impact of his music on our lives. Mark, Patrick and Nona (Brown, Sturgis & Brown).

It started with a conversation and turned into a project. Now that project is COMPLETE!

Join us on Saturday, July 11 - the 16th anniversary of Walter Hawkins transition - as we celebrate the release of “Homage - The Music of Walter Hawkins” at Love Center Ministries, the church he founded.

We promise it will be an evening of celebration and honoring the incredible gift known as Walter Hawkins through the musical interpretations of Brown, Sturgis & Brown. We are excited to share this special night with you!

Please put the date on your calendar, RSVP at https://bsbhomage.eventbrite.com and share! Bring your family/friends!!
