Inspirations: Flowers, Every Day

Flowers take center stage in Blooms Every Day, a new guide to arranging by AIFD-certified floral designer and Flower Moxie founder Amy McCord. The book covers bouquets, centerpieces, and larger arrangements with step-by-step photography, plus sourcing advice, flower substitutions, arrangement mechanics, and care tips. McCord, a former wedding planner and self-taught florist, founded Flower Moxie in 2013 as an e-commerce floral company focused on affordable wedding flower kits. Her latest book brings that same accessible approach to wedding, holiday, and everyday arrangements, making professional techniques easier to bring home. Published by Rock Point, an imprint of Quarto Publishing Group, Blooms Every Day was released on May 5, 2026, as a 208-page hardcover.

A little glimpse of our trunk show with Dustin Dorr of art. object. design. It was a beautiful evening in a space full of inspiration.

Reposting one of my favorite kitchens I’ve designed because I’m slowly bringing more of my design work into this space. Grateful to @elyfair for capturing this space so beautifully.

I’ve spent years designing my own homes, obsessing over materials, color, proportion, and all the tiny decisions that make a room feel like someone—and I’m excited to start doing more of that for other people.

So, consider this a little digging through the archives while I ramp up the design side of things. More to come. 🤍

There were SO many tiny details that went into creating this space, but seeing the whole garden come together might have been my favorite part.

The sweetest little world for Goldie’s first birthday. 🦋

The florals deserved their own moment.. it truly felt like the garden had taken over the house.

Forever in awe of what Felix can create when we give him a vision and let him run with it.

Goldie’s Garden Bar

We carried the pink + green details into every little corner — hydrangeas, lattice work, scalloped trim and the prettiest floral panels to tie it all together.

I love when a functional piece gets to become part of the party design, too.

Goldie’s First Garden Party 🌸🦋🌿

A little garden made just for Goldie. Shades of pink and green, hydrangeas, lattice details, tiny ponies, butterflies, and all the sweetest custom touches brought this first birthday celebration to life.
