Don't Say Good Luck (2026) 8/10 or 4/5 ♡
Review In Post

I'm late on my posting schedule. But here's a more simple review. This film definitely surprised me and moved me in so many ways. It definitely deserves a lot more recognition. Very emotional & heartfelt story. Great music as well

Don’t Say Good Luck – 7.1 - I’ll say this right off the bat, this is not really my type of movie. It’s a very emotional and heavy story about cancer, the impact it has on a family, and growing up while dealing with something that no kid should really have to go through. It’s definitely a coming-of-age story, but there are also a lot of messages throughout about family, life, and appreciating the people around you. It gets pretty sappy at times, and honestly, there were moments where it was just a little too sad for me. Overall, this is a movie that is going to hit a lot harder for people who connect with these kinds of emotional family stories. It just wasn’t completely my cup of tea. Official sundaynightstreaming rating of 7.1 #dontsaygoodluck #adamsandler #moviereview #netflix #sunnysandler

Were any of you gonna tell me there's a movie on Netflix about a girl getting cast as Jenna in her high school production of Waitress???? This movie has everything-- the girl who sang "Astonishing" at the Jimmy Awards in 2019, the guy from @adventcarolndar, an ensemble member making a meal out of her non-speaking role (she's gonna be the only character in this movie who makes it in New York), toxic tenor representation, Bebe Neuwirth, and Jon Lovitz singing "Tomorrow."
