with school starting tomorrow I reflect on the tremendous blessing this summer has been

what a much needed season of joy and celebration

from getting engaged, to wedding plans, to teaching 61 kiddos to swim, babysitting, friends getting engaged and married, getting to serve in Guatemala for the 3rd time, coffee dates, visiting family, vacation with my future in-laws and fiancé, Galveston with my crew, time to slow down, time with Jesus …

to name a few gifts

I am just so grateful

“I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord. Oh the joy of those who trust in the Lord."

there’s a picture though you may not see it yet

every thread has a purpose and soon you’ll see

it’s part of His tapestry

Today we watched empty spaces come alive with hundreds of kids learning about Jesus together! What a joy it was to kick off Day 1 as we reminded ourselves that Jesus is God’s promised Son! We have a good and gracious God and we cannot wait to see what He will do throughout the rest of the week! 🌟
