$and just like that my debut NYFW show has happened!! It is one thing to be lucky enough to do what I do. But to be supported the way I am is the greatest gift in the world. First I’d like to thank my incredible models, photographers, and volunteers, most of which I’d never met before this event. Who were nothing but extremely passionate and kind! Without you this show would be nothing. With a special thank you to Emily, for right off the bat making yourself someone the show could not live without. Our beauty team!! UNREAL. You took three hours and said no problem. It transformed this collection. Brooke, I owe you everything for how you lead with such grace. My first taste of having my own staff, @tejalg3 . To have you in my corner from when this was only an idea all the way to the runway was so special. You mean more to me than you could ever know! My team, consisting of my best friends in the world! Catherine and Yobany. Thank you for lending your skill on the day of and more importantly keeping me afloat in all the hard months leading up to the show! My friends who KEEP SHOWING UP for me! I don’t know how. I keep you so busy but you are my loudest cheerleaders. I couldn’t do it without you. Wendy! Wendy, Wendy, Wendy. Thank you for being my voice of reason every time I felt this was impossible or I was losing my mind. I would not have made it this far without you. Most importantly my family. When I decided to pursue fashion as my career, despite basically no experience, you supported me. When I said I’m not gonna get a job like the rest of the world and start my own company. You said just do it. And when it feels too much or like I can’t do it you pick me up and shake me, reminding me I’m a Brame. So as this brand grows it’s not my name on that wall it’s yours. Everything I do is to make you proud and I hope one day I will be able to pay you back for a fraction of all the support you’ve given me. I love you so much. Thank you for granting me this incredible life. Be prepared to be sick of all the photos and videos to come! This is my proudest accomplishment to date. Thank you to everyone who showed so much love!
