If you would’ve told me tearing my ACL/Meniscus at a trampoline park would lead me to my career, I’d giggle and say there’s no chance.

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend @the_pilates_journal expo in Miami and to say it was an experience is an understatement. There were several takeaways from this expo that I wish every instructor could experience for themselves 🫶🏻. I’m all about sharing little nuggets (we don’t gatekeep around here 🤭).

I am very thankful for the genuine, inspirational, and down to earth people I met, the curated workshops, business panels, and everyday movement 💕☀️

grateful i got to spend my 25th birthday doing what i love, at the pilates journal miami expo 🩵

one of the highlights was taking @em_merrin dynamic strength class from @barrebody, the fusion of pilates & strength has been a concept i’ve personally been following along on for awhile now & something i’ve always envisioned bringing to the studio

women are starting to incorporate strength training into their routines more than ever, and the research backing its benefits on performance & longevity keeps getting stronger

it’s a big part of why i felt now was the perfect time to launch our circuit strength class at portal, it takes the best of both, the breath and mind-muscle connection from pilates and the progressive overload and repetition from strength training

the expo reaffirmed for me that pilates is evolving and i’m excited to be a part of it, can’t wait to keep getting stronger with you all in this next year xxx
