Inspo for track 5: IN MY BODY. This song illustrates what can best be described as the sensual, sparkly, empowering deepening of queer sexuality, the simple gift of falling in love & the magic of embodiment.

Inspo for track 1: MAMA TOLD ME.
For those of you who know me, I simply adore mixed media. Worhsip it, even! I am primarily a writer and producer with an unhinged love for tv/cinema, but also for music and live performance and so my synesthesia is often a big part of my creative process in any medium. In May, I saved up some money from writing gigs to record original songs with my beloved crew @emandthefates. Before going into the studio, I created a pinterest board (cue: aging millennial!) for each song, because visual iconography feeds my understanding of a song and its personality. I thought, as I gear up to share these tunes, I’d share the freakydeaky mood board for each song, along with a soundscape that inspired it. The first track is called MAMA TOLD ME. It’s a warning song from mom. At first I thought this would all be stupid to post about, and I think maybe it still is. Thanks!
