in an effort to dodge monday morning anxiety, i thought i would start a series of Monday Morning Gratitude. I invite yall (especially if i tagged you) to join me in a monday morning joy sesh, and to pass it forward. tag your posts #mondaymorninggratitude so i can enjoy them all!
there are many gifts in this world, but by far my favorite is the gift of loving and being loved by so many different people. feeling forever humbled and grateful for my experiences on this weird planet and how they have connected me to other humans. i regret that i sacrifice my privacy to capitalist marketing wolves of social media, but i am thankful that it keeps me connected to the people in my life that are far away.
life moves fast, REALLY fast, for me these days. i see yall out there. i am cheering you on. thanks for being in my life. stay tuned for more interesting episodes of this show. 🙏

These boots may not be fashionable but they are functional and are all I need to complete a hard day on the work site. @timberland 📸:@emilymclala

I think we found the Shining hallway in Portland! The only thing we’re missing is the twins at the end the hall. The lighting in this hotel really added a chilling effect to our stay.

A little photoshoot of my sisters newest ring creation that she so sweetly made for me! I’m not sure if this photoshoot was more for the ring or for Mowgli though? He kind of stole the spotlight and we’re okay with that✨ This gem of a woman has officially moved her metal smith studio into my cabin where we will be learning, sharing and creating together in this space 💫 I love watching her creativity evolve! This is HeArtWork 🧡 @emilymclala

Sisters 🌙 We see reflections of each other everywhere and in everything. I see you in the pulsating waters, In the plant medicine we walk amongst, In the rhythm of my dancing, In the tears that I’ve shed and of all the women before us, When my feet walk barefoot on the ground of our mother, When I watch the moon and our cycles sync together. We are cosmically woven as one! There is no coincidence that you’re my sister in this lifetime 💫 This is sacred sisterhood @emilymclala
