📍@embercardiff, Cardiff: A day trip from a view months ago, absolutely worth it for the phenomenal Sunday Lunch set menu (2 courses £35, 3 courses £42). - house rosemary focaccia, white bean and confit garlic - mini rigatoni, pork, fennel, chilli and courgette - dry aged rump cap, beef & onion Yorkshire puddings and horseradish (unconventional but delicious) - slow cooked porchetta, crackling and apple sauce - duck fat potatoes, beef fat carrots, buttered hisp cabbage and cauliflower cheese (amazing) Perfect modern take on a Sunday roast, but it would take an inhuman appetite to manage the full 3 courses and bread. You know it's good when the sides are cooked in 3 different fats... . . . #cardifffood #bristolfood #bristolfoodie #sundaylunch #sundayroast

Location is everything, right? Especially when sometimes you just want to leave the car at home. Hi, Cardiff’s complete lack of on-street parking. 🌞 So this is 10 Minutes From Home, where we start at a Moginie James property and see what you can actually reach in under 10 minutes on foot. This time, we’re starting at this gorgeous, characterful home on Talbot Street, currently listed with Moginie James. From door to destination: ☕ Kings Road Yard + The Wardrobe — 7 mins ✨ The Orangery — 6 mins 🍽 Ember — 9 mins 🛍 Fussy Vintage — 10 mins And if you actually followed this exact route, it’s only 13 minutes of walking from start to finish. Coffee, vintage shopping, a little maintenance and somewhere very good to eat, all without needing to find another parking space. Which, frankly, might be the real luxury.

✨ What a wonderful afternoon at Ember No. 5! ✨ a few dishes from our lunch at this amazing restaurant. We were delighted to be invited to attend a wedding here, and what a beautiful experience it was from start to finish. The food was absolutely outstanding — beautifully presented, full of flavour and truly 5-star. Every course was simply mouth-watering! 🍽️ The staff were equally impressive — warm, friendly, attentive and incredibly accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, and their professionalism really added to the occasion. Ember No. 5 is a fantastic venue for so many special occasions, whether it’s a wedding, birthday, business event or simply celebrating with family and friends. A huge thank you to the whole team for making such a memorable afternoon. We would highly recommend Ember No. 5! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

HISTORICAL EMBER ON-SITE BEAN VISIT 🚨 As the boyswiththeirbeans continue to impact global food culture, we’ve been keeping a close eye on those operating at the forefront of bean innovation. So when @embercardiff launched their new classics menu, featuring beans on toast as the starter, we knew we had to get boots on the ground. On arrival, it became apparent we’d been recognised. However, we were assured that we’d be receiving the same beans on toast as the other patrons — alongside some complimentary bean starters and sides, naturally. A historic first and a landmark moment of recognition for the wider organisation. We then proceeded to the core bean-facing deliverables, with the following outputs recorded: Rosemary Focaccia with White Bean & Garlic Confit Excellent performance across both focaccia and confit functions, worth an on-site visit for this alone. Beans on Toast The headline deliverable. Exceptional beans, with spice levels carefully calibrated. Toast was light but provided good crunch alignment. Cheese pleasingly un-woke. Green Beans with Cherries, Almonds & British Feta Outrageously good synergy between bean, fruit, nuts, and cheese. 🫘 BEAN-RELATED ITEMS • Rosemary Focaccia with White Bean & Garlic Confit • Baked Beans on Toast • Green Beans, Cherries, Almonds, & British Feta ❌ NON-BEAN-RELATED • Scampi & British Curry Sauce • Chicken Kiev • Jelly & Ice Cream Overall, an extremely positive performance across the bean portfolio. Boyswiththeirbeans approved ✅️ Shout out to Joe 👏 *Our team remains available for further bean-related consultations.
