Hey, I like your dog.
Positive Reinforcement Dog Trainer.
Serving the Central Coast of California + Online.
I’ll see you halfway there.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Things that have helped beyond managing her pain:

✅ Finding good, qualified, experienced, educated, ethical, and empathetic help @littleweirdosdogtraining virtually and @emberleash in person

✅ learning Titi’s early signs of discomfort.

✅ Enrichment. Kongs and shredding and snuffling and burrowing and digging and seeking games but also letting her be a dog and make choices and have as much freedom as she safely can. I also make sure she has opportunities to play but can always opt out.

✅ Making sure that she has safe spaces away from my dogs

⛔️Not punishing, suppressing, or “correcting” her communication.

✅ Focusing on the work she and I started at the shelter to create safety for her and advocate for her and help her feel differently about things that scare her.

It doesn’t look at all like I thought it would and the dogs are doing things I never imagined they could (all 3 are together on the couch with me as I write this).

It’s a true honor to get to watch Titi shine.

*Special shoutout to Anne who puts up with almost daily videos of Titi with messages saying “holy 💩! Look how well Titi did today!”

❤️TITI❤️ A527022
Are you looking for someone who will never:
🧥ask “is that what you’re wearing?”
📺 be upset that it’s a Gilmore Girls binge kind of day (where you lead, this girl will follow, happily)?
🧺 Complain about chores?

It’s hard to capture Titi’s magic in a post or a reel. This girl’s truest self is one who is looking for someone to choose her, someone to love her, someone to commit to being in charge of her happiness and well being. In return, she will love you with her whole wiggly, snorty, being. She will walk through 🔥fire if it means staying by your side.

She doesn’t need perfect, she needs dedicated, committed, kind, and patient.

👑 Princess Sassypants would prefer to be your one and only but can live with other dogs with someone savvy in the dynamics of a multi dog household.

🧟‍♂️Titi worries zombies attacking. She has training in place to help her navigate those concerns without making a scene, but does require extra care.

🐈‍⬛ A home with cats would also require management and care.

Titi comes with a whole community of people who love her and are ready to help make a placement work. She has sponsored access to @emberleash Dog Training’s virtual Welcome Home program along with a virtual consultation. She has people happy to chauffeur her to multiple meets to make sure the fit is right for everyone. Her adopter will have all the support they want. We just need someone to give her a chance.

So choose Titi.
Pick Titi.
Love Titi.

Titi is available for adoption through @sbcanimalservices and is currently in foster in Lompoc, CA. Comment or message me for more information.

Adoptable Titi A527022 has been in a wonderful foster home where she has enjoyed lots of snuggles and love from her amazing foster @thatferalchick.

Titi enjoys the company of other dogs but Princess Sassy Pants would be happiest as your one and only. She has waited 2 long years for someone to pick her and deserves all the attention.

She is 6ish years old, 55 lbs, loves stuffies, snuggling, long walks, and naps. Most of all, she loves her people with a love bigger than the great blue sky.

Titi also has people who love her just as much. So she comes with all the help and support her adopter wants as well as sponsored access to @emberleash Dog Training’s virtual Welcome Home program to help everyone through the transition.

If you are interested in learning more about this special girl, comment or message me.

Titi is part of the @sbcanimalservices foster program with @victoria_feld_vol_scfc_sbcas in Santa Barbara County, CA.

Please consider adopting Titi! She’s a sweet girl who has been in the shelter system for over two years! She does well with respectful dogs in play groups, but I believe would do best as your one and only pup! She will make an incredible companion for someone looking for a forever soul dog.
.
If you can’t adopt please consider sharing this post so she can find her person/people! She is available through @sbcanimalservices and is located in Lompoc.

A reminder of our Thanksgiving Day last year. This crew turns 1 tomorrow, but we will always celebrate the gifts and life lessons they gave us as a family and all my students along for the journey. Breeding dogs is not easy and this litter definitely tested us. Thankful and Grateful always … for the Dogs in our Lives and the lessons they leave us.

This is your reminder to adopt the shy dog. Adopt the scared dog. Adopt the dog who ignores you. Give them space to show you who they are. Give them a chance to shine. The dogs who need more also give more. You will learn just as much from them as they learn from you.

We might have had to add some 0s to the 3-3-3 rule for her but she went from not being able to walk down the street, pass through gates, or go anywhere she ever heard a dog bark to climbing mountains, exploring slot canyons and hoodoos, peeing in 10 other states, enjoying the Bellagio fountain in Vegas, riding in boats, sliding down snowy hillsides, exploring beaches even when there are waves, and napping pretty much anywhere.

A huge thank you to @emberleash dog training whose classes and advice helped us get there (I was listening even if she was napping) and @mauigirl719 and everyone at @woodshumanesociety who loved her and believed in her while she healed and waited for her forever to start.

🎉Update! Titi is in a foster home🎉🎉
🚨URGENT:Deadline of 10/24🚨
Titi A527022 is an adorable and sweet 5 year old bully mix who packs all the love and charm you could ever hope for into her petite 54 lb frame (seriously, she is tiny).
Titi is dog friendly, good on leash, loves her people, and will look into your eyes with all the love in the universe.

Titi has been let down over and over by humans and needs to find the one who will stick by her side. She will forgive your flaws as she hopes that you will forgive hers.

Titi can be reactive toward things that scare her (she has learned if she barks enough, they will go away). She has made great progress with training even in the challenging shelter environment, but needs a person who will help her continue learning and growing (we can help you and she comes with a free training session from the amazing @emberleash Dog Training if adopted locally).

Titi has spent way more than 600 days in the shelter waiting for someone to see beyond the bark to the sweet and loving soul within.

Please share Titi. Her ride-or-die is out there. Her story cannot end as one more overlooked dog in an overburdened system.

Titi is available for adoption @sbcanimalservices Santa Maria Shelter at 548 W Foster Road Tuesday-Sunday from 10-5.

Titi A527022 is a 5 year old bully mix who is incredibly sweet, affectionate, walks great on leash, is dog friendly, rides nicely in the car, and does very well with positive reinforcement training.

Titi is sometimes frightened of people approaching but has been working on this. She will need help and support with this, but has lots of people in her corner who can help her transition into a home and her adoption will come with a free training session from @emberleash if the adopter is local.

Titi has brought love, joy, affection, wiggles, and loads of humor to the volunteers and staff who have loved her @sbcanimalservices Santa Maria Animal Center. She is absolutely adored. She is a special girl who deserves a family of her own and to live a long and happy life.

Please share sweet Titi. Her home is out there.

You can meet Titi at 548 W Foster Road in Santa Maria Sunday-Tuesday from 10-5 or message this account to arrange a meeting.

🚨Urgent🚨Titi A527022 is a precious and precocious 5 year old bully mix who needs to find her forever home as soon as possible. Titi is house trained, walks great on leash, does well with other dogs, is eager to please her people, and is just as happy to hike as she is to curl up with you on the couch.

Titi needs a special home where she can decompress and learn to feel safe. She can be reactive toward strangers so needs careful introductions and patience. She needs an experienced adopter who can help her with her reactivity. She has responded well to training, but will need time and support. If she is adopted locally, @emberleash dog training is offering a training session to help set her up for success in her new home.

Please share far and wide. Titi’s home is out there, we just have to find it.

You can meet Titi @sbcanimalservices Santa Maria Animal Center at 548 W Foster Rd Tuesday-Sunday from 10-5.

5️⃣6️⃣8️⃣ days is far too long for a dog to be living in a kennel with no family to call her own. A new bed, blanket, and the love and affection of volunteers and staff aren’t enough. She deserves more.

Titi is a 5 year old bouncing bowling ball of love, energy, and cuddles. She walks great on leash and gets along with other dogs.

Titi struggles when scared or surprised, but she has been working hard to get more comfortable. Her adopters will get a free training session from @emberleash to help her transition to her new home.

Titi is available to foster or adopt @sbcanimalservices Santa Maria Animal Center at 548 W. Foster Road Tuesday-Sunday from 10-6.

Titi does well with her dog friends inside and outside of the shelter.

This special girl has waited too long for her forever to start. The shelter is completely full. Please consider fostering or adopting Titi!
