As I reflect on my time serving on the Board of @worldartswest , and on the honor of ending my board term as Chair, I’m filled with gratitude. I especially want to thank @annehuang29 for her leadership, mentorship, and the professional development she has offered me both personally and professionally. Her commitment to the organization, our artists, and our broader community has been deeply meaningful. I’m proud of how the board and staff have worked together to help World Arts West grow as an organization, strengthening its support for artists, building greater financial sustainability, and deepening its commitment to celebrating the diverse cultural traditions and communities that make the Bay Area so special. It has truly been a pleasure to serve. I’ll carry the lessons, relationships, and experiences from this chapter with me for a lifetime—and while my board term may be ending, my support for World Arts West and its work will continue. With gratitude for the journey and excitement for what comes next. ❤️ #malongamusic #worldartswest
