Lots of new faces here so we figured it’s time to re-introduce ourselves.

We’re Jayce & Shara, the brother-sister duo behind Hometown Coffee. We grew up in Austin and have deep roots in this community.

We started Hometown with a simple idea: make great coffee and create genuine connection. We want people to feel seen, not sold to. We’re not chasing trends or corporate vibes, we’re just two very real people selling very real coffee.

House made syrups, meticulously (and sometimes painfully) dialed-in recipes, and damn good prices. That’s what we’re all about.

The new year came faster than Shane Hollander. I’m still processing 2025! What a year of growth, exploration, love, and so much more. I was a barista, a content creator, a viral TikTok sensation with my nickelback bandmates, a nuisance to my family, an activist, a teacher, and so much more. I became a fiancé and shared so many precious moments with loved ones. I loved 2025, but I let her go with gratitude as I step foot into the exciting unknown that is 2026. I’ll end this year as a wife (unless @jsotos10 dumps me, let’s hope not!) and God knows what else. Let yourself be molded into whatever shape the present moment offers. You won’t regret it!❤️

2016. SQUAM in its prime. Snapchat was our love language. Always “studying” — at the bar, the club, the couch, the floor. Tor + a giant Jenga block gave us the strongest side part of the decade. Summit was home. Sweat was couture. President Snow and Pablo Chacon on repeat from the couch. Kylie Lip Kits ruined our lips forever. Nick Miller owned our hearts. Captain Jayce boat life. Permanently haunted by $11.91. Love, money, partied until we believed we could play cornhole with iPhones. Bronze was the new gold. Snowglobed straight into the next year.

☕️ NEW Coffee Trailer ALERT 🍵 in East Austin

@hometowncoffeecompany is now open at 1101 Springdale Road (next to @craftmeats) serving up delicious, hand-crafted lattes 🍵, cold brews ☕️, teas, and breakfast sandwiches 🥐! They make all of their syrups in house - expect London Fog, Bourbon, Vanilla, Lavender to name a few!

Our faves so far:
🫖 Sunday Morning - lavender and earl grey latte
🍓 Strawberry Matcha - fresh strawberry in there
🍋 Lemon Brew - half lemonade, half cold brew
🥐 Ham and cheese and turkey and egg croissant sandwiches

One of my friends I used to work with opened this coffee spot with his sis so it’s extra special and cool. So proud of them!

Great spot, parking lot, open every day, and good people! What more could you ask for? Give them a visit and remember to support local!

Time for a sneak peek of the new Hometown Coffee east side trailer! After six months of love, sweat, and sanding, we’re almost at the finish line.

We’re opening our windows very soon at a new food truck park behind Micklethwait BBQ (Springdale & Oak Springs).
