Seven Olympic medals. Five world titles. Four Games. 🇦🇺

Emily Seebohm debuted for Australia at 14, and it took until her fourth Olympics for her first individual medal. In Tokyo she won bronze in the 200m back, then joined the swimmer she once mentored on the top step of the podium.

She doesn’t get talked about like the other Aussie greats, but her record puts her up there with them.

Is Emily the most underrated Olympian Australia has ever had? 👇

A little mother-and-son magic at New Farm Park. 🤍

I recently photographed Emily and her gorgeous family, and while I’m keeping the full family gallery private, I couldn’t resist sharing a few moments of Emily and her beautiful boy.

The connection between these two was just the sweetest — all those little cuddles, giggles and completely natural moments that show just how much love there is between a mum and her son.

What I love most is capturing people as they really are — the little interactions, the connection and those moments that happen naturally in front of the camera. 🤍

For Emily Seebohm, a career in sport has never been just about the medals.

It’s about the people who were there along the way. The communities that shaped you. The moments shared with family. And, ultimately, what you choose to give back.

Because sport has a unique ability to bring generations together — creating connections, memories and a sense of belonging that can last long after the final whistle, race or competition.

For us at the Queensland Cricketers’ Club, that sense of community, family and legacy is at the heart of who we are.

As we look towards the future of sport in Queensland, we believe it’s important to protect the places and communities that have helped shape it — and to ensure they continue to have a home for generations to come.

Because legacy isn’t just about what you achieve.
It’s about the people who shape you, the community you belong to, and what you leave for those who come next.

Happy Olympic Day!

Today we celebrate. I am proud to be one of the 4,586 Australian Olympians—to have had the opportunity to represent my country at 3 Olympic Games through my swimming career and be part of an extraordinary community built across generations.
And lifelong memories and friendships 🫶

Once an Olympian, always an Olympian.
