It’s finally out.

DELETED TOWN.

A town that shouldn’t exist.
A brother who disappeared inside it.
And a mystery that refuses to stay buried.

This project has been a huge part of our life for quite awhile and I’m incredibly proud to finally start putting it out into the world.

Created by Alistair Gregory.
Developed by Horizon Collaborative.
Made in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The teaser is now live.

This is only the beginning.

Have you binge-watched The Collective yet? It's an eight-part video series that begins as youth mentoring organisation @crescendostudionz's Marcus Powell brings together the programme's most promising young musicians to offer them the biggest opportunity of their lives – a headline gig at @thetuningfork. These rangatahi are the heart of the show, and we're sure you'll be their biggest fans by the end of it. 📱 🎧 👀Link in bio to watch @the_collective_series + swipe through to meet all the artists.

1) Mahima AKA @emcea_ is an emerging multi-genre and experimental RnB artist from Kaitaia, now based in Auckland. His sound is soulful and authentic, channeling all of his feelings into his music. [Photo: Hunter Crouchley]

2) @irisguevarra is a 22-year-old RnB singer/songwriter from Avondale, Auckland. She merges quirky vocals with personal storytelling and hard-hitting synths that draw listeners in and takes them on a journey. Her music focuses on personal life experiences and lyrics promoting female empowerment. Her latest single “My Body Is Mine” available on all streaming platforms. [Photo: Shamir Rodriguez]

3) Mataio, AKA @ace.swami, is an experimental rap artist with his beats channeling jazz, hip hop and RnB. While his genre is hard to fit in one box, all of Mataio’s songs are influenced by his own experiences. A self-confessed poet, music was his calling and he describes himself as a perfectionist in his approach. [Photo: Hunter Crouchley]

4) Amelia AKA @lesbossmusic is an up and coming pop artist with upbeat, feel-good vibes. Lesboss is Amelia’s alter ego, her superhero suit reminding her of her innate self-worth while representing the LGBTQI community. [Photo: Hunter Crouchley]

5) Trey (@thaonly2trae_) & Jay (@g.i_baby4life) are up and coming rap artists from Glen Innes. Trey’s genre is rap, trap and hip hop and he makes his own beats. His brother Jay has a deep, soulful voice and together they’re blazing a trail in the music industry to ‘get out the hood and do good’. [Photo: Shamir Rodriguez]

6) The artists and @melodownz at Crescendo. [Photo: Hunter Crouchley]

A teaser of episode 2 of The Collective - a great new video series that follows six promising young musicians who have been offered the biggest gig of their lives. Tensions are high as the team realise just how much is involved in pulling off the gig.
