Really though: from the outstanding cast and crew to the chicken patties and sunsets, I am beyond grateful for every moment of this experience and all the people who contributed to it. I cannot. Stop. Thinking about it.

I’ll shut up for a little while now. And then I look forward to being back with a vengeance towards the end of the year as we get through post and prepare to share the final product!

Yes, Forrest was our Drone Operator. Yes, Jared was our Ropes Stunt Coordinator. Yes, there’s a Fort scene.

My current feeling is that this is the greatest thing I’ve ever done. Not being hyperbolic.

I am only midway through my marathon of thank yous, but on top of every talented & dedicated person you see in and in the periphery of these pictures, a SIZABLE thanks must go to our brilliant production still photographer @scottparkerphoto , aka the legendary Scott Barnes.

And YES - we’ve wrapped. Yes - post-production has started. Yes - there’s more to come!

$85k in 30 days. I genuinely can’t process that. That is insane.

It is sinking in: this is truly going to be something special.

Thank you to the 248 people (!!!???) who provided their support to my new project. 1 month out to filming and you’ve given me and my team the emphatic boost that we needed. And I am now going into filmmaking hibernation until we wrap. Wish us luck!

8 days left and whoever you are reading this: WE REALLY COULD USE YOUR HELP!

It was a remarkable week for us: a productive tech scout, casting progress, visual aesthetic prep, and a 65% uptick in number of donors compared to last week! But it must be emphasized: after a lot of serious strategic thinking, WE DO NEED MORE MONEY THAN ORIGINALLY THOUGHT TO BRING THIS TO LIFE. Night lighting (especially in Weld, Maine) is no joke! 11-year-old Hawk lodge Graham is extremely happy because we have had a very productive week of prep AND we have SURPASSED OUR ORIGINAL $60K GOAL IN 2 WEEKS! We’re ecstatic and grateful to be in greenlight territory at the halfway mark, but we still ABSOLUTELY COULD USE YOUR HELP. In short: our original goal allows us to film the movie. Our stretch goal allows us to COMPLETE & SHARE the movie (including post/VFX/Festivals/etc.) and our super stretch goal allows my personal savings to not be entirely drained. Link in the bio!
