A story about friendship, grief, nostalgia and light & dark.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed and witnessed this piece of mine that night. The love and support felt from this was overwhelming, I’m beyond grateful for all the kind words exchanged and resonance felt. Thank you for all the intentional moments of silence, sniffles, and warm woos throughout the piece — I hope that this piece connected you deeper to a memory or emotion that lies within yourself with tenderness and love✨

Thank you to EmCore and Kayla for providing a platform that invited and encouraged risk-taking, experimentation and innovation. Thank you for cultivating and supporting my artistry in whatever way, shape, and form that came out <3

To my cast:
Thank you are not deep enough words to describe the love I have for all of you and for what you all brought to this story of mine. Thank you for your patience in my process, for your silliness in my stillness, for your intentions with the characters I made for you all. A core memory unlocked getting to watch from the curtains, that final stage run, tears streaming down my face the entire time — seeing both the duality of behind and in front of the curtain. And then the hugs and tears shared right after outside the venue. Love yall big time, I’m so happy the world got to meet Sloane, Clara, Jasper and Lena through you all🤍🌟🫂

thank you @kaylashenassa for having me a part of your production team. I am so happy for you and proud of you for making your vision happen. I truly had the most awesome experience working with over a hundred people + you, which was obv my favourite part. and all of production team you are loved, flowers go to you all too:)

I have so many words, yet I cannot find the right ones to describe how much gratitude I’ve been filled with these past few weeks.

To everyone involved, thank you for making this show possible. I am so grateful to be able to create this space for our generation, and even more grateful and inspired by the way our community has embraced it and made it something so special. The endless amounts of time and love poured into this show is the reason it was so successful, and the reason we will be able to continue to offer this space for our community. I cannot wait to see how we grow next year ❤️

| filled with so much gratitude for all of my dance friends and community this season 🫂 thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with your vision and team, i’ll never take your kindness and leadership for granted!

5 shows, 1 competition, and 18 pieces later; it was an absolute honour of a lifetime learning from and dancing with all of these amazing artists. how lucky am i to be able to move my body and do all the things i love with my family?? 🍀🫶🏻

Yayyy for May!!

I have a very hard time being happy for myself for things I’ve accomplished big or small. but looking back in summary i; took my first acting class, booked my first feature, acted as lead in 2 short films, started producing a live show, produced an innovate, danced for 3 whitecaps games, and so much more. and most importantly made so many awesome connections with great people.
funny thing most things i accomplished in the last half of the year. i didnt think it would be possible with how my year started out but thats a lesson to learn. right things will come at the right time:)
