Quite literally the best NYE in history. Happy 2024 to all y’all. Thankful to spend time with friends who are family, thankful for our new life, missing a bunch of folks (next year please), happy to be spinning on this globe (yes, it’s a globe) even though it’s far from perfect. Perfection is boring anyway. Give me the mess and a wig and a bottle of champagne and we’ll muddle through. I love you! #nye #nola

My wonderful friend and colleague, Arlia, just sent me this. Look at all the ROCK STARS from Season 2010-2011 of the Metropolitan Opera 5th floor costume shop. The skills, talent, artistry and craftsmanship represented in this photo cannot be measured. What an absolute honor to have worked with you all. I hope to work or at least see you all again soon😘❤️ #worklife

Amped up NYE with the Guinness Pie recipe from @nytcooking - also amped the recipe by blind baking a base crust in a springform pan. Salad of romaine, avocado, asparagus, and lemon shallot vinaigrette. Bread by @tommyony. Batteries for the card shuffler. Wine by @mazzoccosonoma - Brilliant meal, good friends, great New Years Eve.
