the space where i create and express is the space where i feel most myself, most free, most joyful, most alive, and also, most vulnerable.

there’s a tender tension between the soul’s need to express and create and the human fear of being witnessed in the exact energy where i am most open. there’s a desire to pour my art and inspiration into others and the temptation to keep it tucked away and hidden, safe from the outside world.

i’ve put a lot of inner work into opening my heart and being brave enough to shine. shrinking is not an option.

the act of creating is where i alchemize. i have fallen in love with so many mediums. a pen and paper, an apparatus, a canvas, a stage. it’s where i connect. it’s where i play, explore, release, express, transmute. it’s human, spiritual, raw, sensitive, and the axis of which i return to self.

every day i’m grateful for an able body and mind that allow me to live out my dreams and passions in more magical and incredible ways than i could have ever imagined for myself.

here’s to remaining open and never losing the zest and wonder for a life lived romantically and potently.
