Emerging Artists celebrates 10 years! Fun fact! I own a children’s musical theatre academy! If you haven’t followed us yet, please do so here @emergingartistsmta. We educate through classes, camps, and workshops. We opened in 2013 and are celebrating 10 years in business this weekend! ✨🥳 It was hard to imagine when I started Emerging Artists what it would become today but I can say that it exceeded my expectations tenfold. I LOVE to teach children of all ages. Each age has its own unique special moments-and challenges too! The moments of discovery and delight, bravery and accomplishment that I get to witness is truly something I deeply cherish. Theatre education is transformative. Whether or not you want to become a professional actor, the skills that students learn in class are invaluable. We learn so much about ourselves, human nature, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, self-esteem, bravery, culture, perspective, social skills, finding our voice, owning our space, and the list goes on. I could talk all day about the amazing moments I have shared with my students, seeing them work towards their personal goals, overcome challenges, and have a blast along the way. I am so grateful to the countless families that have entrusted me to help guide and nurture their children’s innate creative spirit. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. A couple of shoutouts to people that have made Emerging Artists possible, these people are just as much the heart and soul as I am, @shelleyjoustrascott and @kristina_aka_starla. Thank you for your dedication, expertise, love and support. 🙏
