🎭 EMERGING 2K26 🎭

Still feeling everything from this experience. 💚 I loved being able to use movement in a different way than usual to tell a story, communicate a message, and make people feel something without having to say a word. Being a part of this showcase reminded me why I’ve always loved to DANCE.

@nikki_thecreative 🖤 Le’ choreographerrr, my friend, and somebody I love dearly. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your vision and trusting me to help bring your story and message to life. Thank you for creating something with meaning and giving me the opportunity to express myself through your art. I’m grateful to be a part of something so much bigger than just movement. Love youuuu! 🫶🏾

@darylfoster 🤎 Thank you for your kind words and for seeing me and pushing all of us during that last rehearsal to bring that passion, emotion, and FIRE to the stage. You reignited something in me that has always been there and I’m truly grateful. Thank you for creating this safe space for us dancers @emergingmoves.

And to my friends and all of Nikki’s dancers, it’s been great being around you guys and exchanging all the laughs in our rehearsals. 😝🤟🏾

Emerging Video Diary numbah FIVEEE 🗣🗣🗣- this is probably the last video diary I'll ever make (do not quote me on that) social media content is so annoying lol

But yeah just the latest emo thingy from me. I don't even remember why I wrote this in my notes app, I must've been goin through it dayum :/

But it's definitely feeling that comes and goes. For a lot of people, I'm sure. It inspired me to make this new piece, "Green Means Go", and to ask myself what keeps me going everyday. What is the goal I'm chasing- or do I even know what it is? Does it exist? EXISTENTIALISMMMMM

Anyways

Please come see our show tomorrow 🎫 :)
