We’re excited to introduce one of our two BYX Sweethearts, Emerson Townshend! 🤍 We’re so thankful to have her supporting our chapter and can’t wait to see the impact she makes this year!

My name is Emerson Townshend and I am from Charlotte, North Carolina! I am a sophomore here at Georgia Southern majoring in Criminoloy! I love being outdoors, spending time with friends, going to football games, concerts, and meeting new people! I am so excited to be one of the new sweethearts for BYX!
I am most excited to get to know the men within BYX and help with whatever I can whenever I can! I am also extremely excited for the opportunity to grow in my faith through this position! Being a sweethearts means to me as to be the guidance and helping hand through challenges, through the ups and downs, the good and the bads! I can’t wait to see this chapter grow within themselves and within their walk with Christ!

my thank you to junior year:

This year came with a lot of change, but through it all I gained some truly amazing people and opportunities that helped me start my life over in the best way possible.

I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without AOII. AOII brought me friendships, memories, and people who stood by me through silent battles and reminded me to keep fighting even on the hardest days.

The Lord has blessed me in so many ways this year, and I will always be grateful for that.
