Fitness, life & some core memz from the past six weeks 🫶🏻

Years of work and self-belief have made a few pretty special things happen lately. And they mean even more because of where I was mentally at the start of the year.

If the version of me from months and months ago could see all of this now, she’d be so proud of how far I’ve come. Everything that’s happening means a lot, but being able to properly feel like myself again, appreciate it and actually enjoy it all means the most.

So grateful for my incredible friends, fam and clients, who consistently show up for me through the grey and the glitter. And to anyone who comes to my classes, comes to my events or supports what I’m trying to build in any way, your support means more than you know ❤️

If you’re going through something right now and genuinely can’t see the other side, hangggg on. As someone who didn’t think it would get better at the start of this year, it really, really does.

@ada_talentuk summer party felt like a lil family reunion because what do you mean all those amazing people are my colleagues! V proud to be signed by humans that are not only my best friends but absolute powerhouses. I got to watch ADA grow from the incredible brain of @alexandrew.1 into the successful, value-led management company it is today! The whole ADA team is more than I ever could have wished for and forever grateful to be a part of it ❤️ especially when their summer parties look like this!!

And of courseeeeee I instantly fan girled over @trevoriggy 😱

Saying YES and booking the last spot on @georgieeswallow's @lifesforliving.uk retreat with @yoganomes was the best impulsive decision I've made this year, potentially ever. We said our goodbyes a week ago, but I'm still not over how perfect the weekend was. Beautiful location, beautiful food and of course, beautiful people. We found the definition of sisterhood and those women will forever hold a special place in my heart ❤️

Today was a hard launch for the great British summer👌🏼☀️🎾 and WHAT. A. DAY.

How bloody lucky am I to get to have a day like today? Thank you so much to @emirates for hosting us to watch the @hsbcchampionships at @thequeensclub. Getting to watch matches I’ve only ever thought I’d see on tv in person is a serious pinch me and my god to do feel grateful for the opportunity.

It largely though is all thanks to you guys because if it wasn’t for having you all here this wouldn’t be possible 💖 and what an incredible group of women to spend the day with too. I am just one big sweaty pile of gratitude RN (yep, soooo sweaty it’s absolutely roasting in the arena). What an experience.

My first UK @lifesforliving.uk retreat was everything I could have hoped for and more 💛

For such a long time, I’ve dreamed of creating a space like this. A space where women could step away from the noise, slow down, connect and remember themselves again. And thanks to @yoganomes, that dream became a reality.

I think wellness can feel intimidating these days. Like it’s all green juices, 5am wake-ups, ice baths and constantly trying to optimise yourself… and if you don’t do it every day, you’ve failed!

But for me, wellness has never been about pushing harder.

It’s about giving yourself permission to pause.

It’s taking a deep breath in nature.
It’s moving your body because it feels good, not because you have to.
It’s eating nourishing food and listening to what your body needs.
It’s having conversations that make you feel seen.
It’s laughing until your cheeks hurt.
It’s making new friends.
It’s remembering that you deserve time for yourself too.

And that’s exactly what this weekend was.

We stretched, walked, ate incredible food, rested, chatted for hours, connected with nature and with each other, and left with hearts that felt a little fuller than when we arrived.

This is what @lifesforliving.uk is all about. Finding community. Saying yes to life. And sometimes, saying yes to life looks like slowing down enough to actually enjoy it.

I’m so unbelievably grateful to every woman who came along and trusted us with their weekend. What a special first retreat!! And bring on October for the 2nd!!

When I had cancer, one of the things I was most scared of wasn’t dying… It was dying before I’d really lived.

Before I’d seen the places I wanted to see.
Before I’d tried the things I wanted to try.
Before I’d become the person I wanted to be.

Cancer has a way of making time feel very loud. It made me realise how often we wait.

Wait until we’re more confident.
Wait until we’re less busy.
Wait until we have more money.
Wait until we know exactly what we’re doing.

But life doesn’t come with guarantees.

And so somewhere along the way, @lifesforliving.uk was born.

Not because I have life figured out, but because I know what it feels like to realise how precious it is.

It started as a simple idea: to encourage people to say yes a little more often. To adventures, to opportunities, to connection, to themselves.

This weekend, that idea became something I never could have imagined.

Our very first Life’s For Living retreat with the retreat & yoga goddess @yoganomes ❤️

A group of women, many of whom started as strangers on the internet, coming together for a weekend of yoga, laughter, conversations, friendship and reminding each other that life is happening right now.

Honestly, it’s a little surreal.

Because years ago I was terrified I wouldn’t get the chance to live the life I dreamed of.

And this weekend I got to watch a room full of people doing exactly that.

Life really is for living 🤍
