I've got another double feature for you for the Halloween season! Two fairytales about mother figures and their misplaced anger — it's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs vs. Friday the 13th. Listen to Tasteless wherever you get podcasts.

Two movies about paying for parents' sins while everyone else tries to tell your story for you — it’s Sophie’s Choice vs. Scream. I'm kicking off an #UnhingedOctober with this pairing from the depths of my brain. Listen in to see what these movies have in common on the Tasteless feed wherever you get podcasts.

While researching the movie 9 to 5 for the pod, I learned more about Dolly Parton's phenomenal legacy. The Imagination Library, the Buddy Program, supporting breakthroughs in science, disaster relief, so much more. All the book drives happening in her name, the kindness happening in her name, that's the sign of a true legend and hero. What an inspiration.

What do Unforgiven and 9 to 5 have in common? Quite a lot, actually! I compare the two in the new episode of Tasteless and talk about what I think 9 to 5 does better.

Three people from different walks of life team up to get revenge against those who abuse their power, plus the fantasy versus reality of making them pay — it’s Unforgiven vs 9 to 5.

Take a listen to Tasteless wherever you get podcasts, and donate to Dolly Parton's @imaginationlibrary at the link in bio.

In case you weren't sure what this podcast is, I compare movies! The latest episode is The Odyssey (Christopher Nolan) vs. my personal favorite, Forces Of Nature (Bronwen Hughes).

I discuss all the themes the two films share, how each approached those themes, and what elements I think my pick did a little better. Listen wherever you get podcasts.

The Last Sharknado: It's About Time did everything with Nova (@cassiescerbo) that I wish Avengers: Endgame had done with their incredible lady superheroes. Listen to the latest episode of Tasteless where I cover everything these two movies have in common, and why I think The Last Sharknado is worth a watch.
