What is the CHHS HUB? 🩺 The Health Professional Pathways HUB is part of EMU’s College of Health & Human Services. It helps students explore careers in nursing, public health, social work, dietetics, and more. Through advising, workshops, mentoring opportunities, and professional development, students can find support and build connections for what’s next. 🧠 📍 201 Marshall Building Learn more at the link in our bio! Three people are smiling and working together on a machine in a workshop. They are under a sign for the "Health Professional Pathways Hub" from the College of Health and Human Services. The text on the image says, "Your next step starts here. Explore careers in health and human services."

Big news from the Optimus family…we’re officially an approved O&P residency site! Being selected as an approved site is a recognition of our clinical expertise, and for us, it’s also a way to give back to a field that exists to serve the amputee community. We’re excited to help shape the next generation of exceptional clinicians who will go on to change lives across the country. If you’re an O&P grad student ready to train with a team that sets the bar high, we’d love to hear from you. 🔗 Apply through OPRESCAS: https://oprescas.cas.myliaison.com/applicant-ux/#/login Not familiar with O&P residencies? Think of it like a medical residency. It’s how the most skilled clinicians in our field complete their training before going on to serve patients of their own. We couldn’t be more proud to be part of that journey. #OrthoticsAndProsthetics #OandP #Prosthetics #Orthotics #Residency #OPRESCAS #HealthcareCareers #ohio Announcement for approval as OPRESCAS residency site for orthotics and prosthetics master graduate students. Application is live for two spots in Ohio.

April is national limb loss and limb difference awareness month. Figured it would be on brand to spotlight the second group of students at EMU that I was a patient model for. The future of prosthetics and orthotics is in good hands. Elina approved ✅

Last minute found out about an Ottobock clinic at Eastern Michigan University (where I attend school). What are the chances?! It was so cool to see the EMU orthotics & prosthetic majors and ottobock come together for such an amazing event. It was also really cool to try a new foot that gave me a lot more bounce as you can see in the second slide lol. Pic creds to my wonderful friend @alexsysmgiraud
