We had such a wonderful day shooting in the park with our ambassadors! The setting gave us an opportunity to try out a different style, with the dancers leaning into the natural ambience beautifully!

Think this looks like fun? Come join us on June 14th for your own mini session in the park! See the link in our bio for more info!

Happy Friday! Be inspired by the next generation of dancers! Listen as they tell us why they dance and how it makes them feel.

We don’t often get to hear the voice behind the movement so it’s special to hear how much dance means to them. I really enjoy helping dancers grow on their journey and witnessing their evolution firsthand.

Introducing our Spring 2026 Ambassadors ✨📸

Scarlet (@emiko.scarlet ) is a 16-year old pre-professional student, who is currently studying at The Colburn School (@colburn.dance ). As a young dancer, Scarlet has already danced feature roles, such as Baby Ginger in American Contemporary Ballet’s The Nutcracker, as well as Clara in Launch Dance Center’s The Nutcracker. These roles allowed her to show off her strong acting skills, beautiful leg lines, and dynamic jumps! During her time as a 2026 Spring Ambassador, Scarlet is looking forward to the confidence and creativity she knows the shoots will bring her. She hopes to use this, as well as her hard work and dedication, to become a professional dancer. She dreams of dancing principal roles like Kitri, Giselle, Aurora, and The Sugar Plum Fairy.

I’m thrilled to announce the Spring 2026 Scott Edwards Photography Dance Ambassadors. I received even more applications than anticipated and was able to offer spots on the team to 8 dancers from throughout Southern California. I know this is going to be a great opportunity for all of us to grow as artists and I look forward to sharing all of the beautiful images we create in the months ahead.

Look for features on each dancer in the coming days.

The ambassadors are . . .
@kaela_alvarez24
@gwynethdean.ballerina
@ivyrballerina
@emmy_lee_kim
@ali_mangali11
@emiko.scarlet
@anthiyphantides
@savannah_anne_koch

And a special thanks to @savannah.maeda for all of her help behind the scenes to make this project happen.
