It’s funny how people describe “baby steps” as these tentative tries towards their dreams like they aren’t essential. In my experience baby steps are profound attempts at navigating the unknown and pushing yourself and in this case our duo. I’ve never gotten anywhere worth going without a few baby steps. Some wobbly, unbalanced attempts that might have me falling face first or bruising my ankle or skinning my shin or damaging my armpit or making me confront my ego… not that any of those are real examples 👀

…but taking those steps is a lot easier when you have a friend to laugh, roll around on the ground with, and then get up and try again. Making this act with @aerialist_owl is one of my favorite circus projects to date. We will find a stage for it— if you have any leads let me know 💛
