Happy Pride Month! This post is going to be a culmination post of the past 6 months (sorry in advance for the long caption). Spring semester was something of its own kind. Winterguard was a highlight with the culmination of the season leaving me with a first place trophy for a duet I'm so proud of and glad I got to share with the love of my life. It also left me with a hard earned captain position for the upcoming fall season that I am so grateful to have received. I had a blast in my classes though they were hard at times, I learned a lot and I'm very excited to learn more. I ate down finals and then immediately headed abroad for one of the best trips I've ever been on. I've had a very fun year at UNI but I am very ready for a break away from it. I also want to give an update about how I've been doing. Since this semester started there have been many people that I had given my trust that have broken it repeatedly and have tried to bring a lot of negativity into my life. This has really impacted how my freshman year has gone, especially this last semester. I won't be elaborating on specifics of anything because I want to move on from these situations so please don't ask me about it. Because of these people's actions I am making the decision to withdraw from social media a bit. I will still most likely check in from time to time and post the occasional story, but this will be my last big post for the foreseeable future. Thank you to my real friends that never made me feel bad about myself and stuck by my side throughout all of this. I love you guys, happy pride🫰🌈
