A degree in my hand and a lifetimes worth of memories

Dear Minisink Softball,

Through some of the hardest years of my life, softball has always been my constant.

Every time this song has played I always related it to you, and tried to push aside that one day I would have to live it. Playing softball for Minisink the last 6 years of my life has given me infinite memories and lessons I will never ever forget. Irregardless of the losses, the hard days, long practices, days where it felt like the world was going to end, I knew at the end of the good days, and even the bad, I always had you to look forward to. Irregardless of my stats, or the mistakes I’ve made, I am happy to have ended my season the way I did - surrounded by this team. Stats and records are just numbers on a screen, the real things that I will remember are the bus rides where I nearly lost my voice before the game even started, the McDonalds runs, the water balloon fight, and all of the fun and crazy things that we got to do together. The girls I was able to be surrounded by are some of my bestfriends and I’m glad to be able to carry these friendships off the field. Thank you to every school ball Coach I’ve ever had that has helped me grow into the player I am today. Thank you to Coach Shana and Coach Meg for pushing me to do my best each and everyday and for the new nickname (😁). The memories made on this team will forever hold a special place in my heart and I will never forget them. 7 out 💚🤍

thank you dutchess debs,

for becoming not just a team, but a family. these past 3 years are ones i'll cherish for a lifetime. i thank my coaches, for always seeing my full potential, and believing in me even when i doubted myself. special thank you to eric for the dedication and time put into this team and each and every one of us. i thank my teammates for becoming my best friends. from practices, to games, to hotels and everything in between, the memories and laughs will never be forgotten.
i wouldn't have rather ended my travel career with another group of people. i have been pushed and allowed to flourish to become my best self. i am grateful to have had such an impactful experience that makes saying goodbye infinitely hard.
thank you travel softball, for giving a little girl the opportunity to compete and grow a profuse passion for the game over the past 10 years, making priceless memories and meeting the best people along the way. for not just being a sport, but creating all the best parts of me.

Through the good times, the bad, the early morning games, the late night practices, this team has been with each other through it all. Although this chapter of my life is over, this team will forever live on through the many amazing memories made along the way. To my debs family thank you for always being my rock, my best friends, and amazing teammates, without you guys I wouldn’t be where I am today

Thank you to all the coaches who have made this incredible journey possible, especially my father who built this team from the ground up from just 3 girls to now a very successful team that I consider my second family. These past 7 years playing on this team wouldn’t have been possible without you, so thank you! #30signingout #debsfamily 💙💛🤍

Thankyou Debs softball. To say this team means the world to me is an understatement. They have seen me at my worst and my best and have always picked me back up, especially coach Eric. This has been the best 5 years of my life on this team, it’s been an honor to wear these colors. #6signingout 💙💛
