I got to perform again for the first time in a hot sec!!

I’m so grateful to have been invited to perform at @breakingbarrierscabaret with some of the most talented people in the industry 🫶 Amy and the team are working absolute WONDERS with these shows, creating such a safe space for disabled and neurodivergent talent to showcase their potential ⭐️ More often than not, we are shunned out and cast aside whilst being told that we can’t. Breaking Barriers showed me that I can and that I will. Plus, getting to sing two of my most favourite songs of all time to a paying audience will never get old 🫡

Thank you to all the wonderful people in my life that showed up for me, whether that was physically or by sending words of encouragement - I truly am grateful to be surrounded by such beautiful people who I adore so very much 💋

(PS, thank you to @lilykerhoas for putting up with me coming over to your house to freak out about singing these songs, I owe you big time xo)

An evening celebrating disabled and neurodivergent talent, told through musical theatre — yeah this is exactly our kind of night.

With two sold-out shows wrapped up in London, Breaking Barrier is heading to our theatre this September. With conversations about inclusion and representation more important than ever, this show hands the mic to performers and challenges the barriers that continue to exist in the industry.

@breakingbarrierscabaret has bagged an incredible lineup of performers bringing their creativity, individuality and talent to the stage.

Come be part of this incredible celebration - grab your tickets at porterscardiff.org/theatre

After four years, I’ve finally graduated! 🥂

I am so grateful for everyone who went on this journey with me and the people I have met who I know will be life long friends! ⭐️

At the end of second year I very nearly deferred my third year due to my health. But I decided not to, and to carry on till the end no matter what. I could never have imagined that my third year would’ve been a struggle between my passion and my health, especially within an industry that hasn’t evolved to properly support people with chronic illness. Yet I am so proud of myself for making it to the end despite everything and I couldn’t have done it without the support system of my friends and my family 🫶

It wouldn’t be a conti post if I didn’t mention the best thing to come out of conti. Meeting my life partner @emilyaj0nes 🫶 I couldn’t have done these past four years without you and through the hardships over the past four years I go through it all again to have met you! 💛

now I guess it time to try being a real adult! 🥲
