✈️ A day in the life of an Envoy intern!

Communications Intern Emily traded her desk for the runway as she joined fellow interns for a behind-the-scenes look at aviation operations in Abilene, Texas.

From exploring airport operations and touring the Freeman Jet Center to seeing aircraft undergo heavy maintenance, it was a day full of learning, discovery and unforgettable experiences. Come along for the ride and see what it’s like to spend a summer at Envoy. 👀

still trying to fully process the magic that was this past weekend. anyone who knows me knows the love i have for @dmatuf and going into my second year in this organization, i truly didn’t think it was possible to love it anymore than i already did. but joining @ufmorale has proved me wrong.

this year, i have had the privilege to stand alongside 46 of the most caring, kind, and overall perfect people, who inspire me daily. being a part of this team has done nothing short of change my life and i have to thank @kfinkelstein for giving me the gift that is this team. you inspire me, i look up to you, and i am truly forever grateful to you. and to everyone on morale, words cannot describe the way i love you guys. you have become my home away from home, my biggest supporters, and the reason this experience has meant as much as it has. thank you for the laughs, the energy, and the constant reminders of why we do what we do. let’s spend 26.2 hours in the o’dome every weekend!

being part of dance marathon has completely shaped my college experience, and i feel so lucky to be surrounded not only by this team, but also by the most supportive friends and family. i truly can’t thank you enough. because of you, i was able to raise $6,950 this year, bringing my lifetime total to over $7,500… seriously, pinch me. and even more incredible is what we accomplished together. 1.15 million miracles for the kids at uf shands. i truly cannot put into words how grateful i am.

from the bottom of my heart, thank you. one year left… already counting down the days until i’m back in the o’dome again.💚🌟

words can’t describe how grateful i am for @ufmorale and @dmatuf. getting to live in this moment for over 26.2 hours was life changing and only further solidified my commitment to fighting so kids can just be kids regardless of the battles they’re fighting at hospitals like uf shands. never did i ever think i would meet some of my best friends through this team and i find myself filled with so much love and admiration for everyone i got to experience this with. i feel extremely lucky to have been a freshman captain on morale and i only wish i got more time with the seniors who helped me find my place. coming from a dance marathon program in high school, dm at uf gave me a genuine purpose and a reason to keep going at times when i really wanted to give up and i will always remember that. i can’t express my gratitude enough so truly thank you times a million. to think my first main event is already over makes me too emotional to function but i can’t wait to see what next year brings. with all the love and ofc for all the right reasons! 💕🪄✨💚
