Back in JB after almost 3 years…

How have you been, mate
Used to be my weekly date
I savoured your offerings
I revelled in your happenings
It’s been almost three years
Me in Ipoh, you’re no more near
You seem to be have changed
Things been rearranged.
Oh well, let’s see what you’ve got
Have you cold or are you hot.

The place I had business
It is so quiet now.
What happened to you?
You look abandoned.
Where is everyone?
Is it the haze, or
Is it the economy?
Or is it something else?
It’s dinner time,
Where are the diners?
Hope it gets better in the morning.
We shall see…

Really proud of and grateful to each one of the players playing for Team 002. Jas & Nesya were stuck in their trains from KL for 6 hrs and arrived 12.30am without having dinner the day of the tournament. Zhafree was a last minute recruit to replace Brandon and had to come from 17-20 to win a do or die match with Jas, Nesya, playing in her first team event had to learn to overcome team pressure and up her game and did so. Irshad had to change his game for the last 3 matches and did it beautifully, and Jas, was just Jas. Together, they fought with all they could, played 6 Dreambreakers in 6 matches (including the finals, against a team who had a walkover in the semis, meaning each of their players played two matches less not counting the Dreambreakers they didn’t have to play), and took us to our 13 finals in 16 major tournaments. Thank you @pickleball.jas @nesyaxtan @zhafrees & @irshadinkss for playing with pride for @002pickleballclubacademy at @picklenova Pickle Nova Team Championship.

We are very proud to announce that Choo Lyn Yuen @choolynyuen is ranked in the top 20 of Asia’s Women’s Doubles Pickleball Players. We chose to support Lyn Yuen’s & @neemonthecourts pickleball endeavours with the hope that we can help inspire more Malaysia’s women to believe and aim to be amongst the best in the world. It was not smooth sailing, but Lyn Yuen, we have come real far. Let’s keep fighting.

Lost in the Dreambreaker due to a massive disruption when leading 13-7 in the semifinals, the team was demoralised. However, the team overcame that and went on to win the 3rd place playoff for the bronze medal at the Tom Khoo Georgetown Pickleball Championship. We are thankful for the massive efforts of the players @kaifen.yi_pb @pickleball.jas @neemonthecourts @nickwiseman14 @dustin.wang_pb & @dickson_.03 for fighting till the very end; hungry, exhausted, and down, but not out. Special thanks go to the other teams that remained behind to cheer on the team.

In life coaching, sales and real estate training & coaching, I have been fortunate to be recognised as the best because of the results my students have achieved in sales, real estate & financial advisory. That same application in studying continuously, comprehending scientifically, researching deeply, analysing thoroughly, leads to developing the right programs and then teaching effectively is now in our pickleball coaching methodology at @002pickleballclubacademy

We cannot live our lives hoping that people will repay our kindness or support. Genuine kindness is not done with the intention of any form of return. We do it because that is us. Be true to yourself and be happy.
