Welcome back unemployment, I’ve missed you. Welcome back having less than $100 in my bank account, I did not miss you.

Been an evil semester. Got diagnosed with POTS. Shout out tachycardia. Worked in hell (until the very end when I quit that hoe) . Sound designed for 4 shows, co-ran a student org, went to the ER on 3 separate occasions and somehow made dean’s list.

But at least I spent it with the pookies.

Good god. When your professor says: "for a grade, you have to put on a play in 3 months with no money and no creative team", then everything falls on who you have in your corner. I couldn't wish, in my wildest dreams, for a better cast to have in my corner. They are devoted, hilarious, singular actors and creatives, and anyone would be blessed to have them. Thank you also to the playwright, for helping me find my voice as a director. This delightfully dark play is one of the greats, and this production really proved to me that theatre is only as good as what you put into it; so make sure you surround yourself with people who will put in everything. So much love. 😽❤️
