From my grandma heart to yours.♥️⁣
⁣
How is this little guy already almost 7 months old?⁣
⁣
I blinked.⁣
⁣
“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it, you can never get it back.” -Harvey Mackay⁣
⁣
⏳Time is wild like that, doesn’t slow down for anyone, no matter how much we ask it to.⁣
⁣
So here’s what I’m encouraging you to do:⁣
⁣
👟Take the walk. ⁣
⁣
Even if it’s just around the block.⁣
⁣
🩺Get the check-up.⁣
⁣
The one you’ve been putting off because ⁣
you’ll do it next month.⁣
⁣
Nourish yourself.⁣
⁣
🍎Choose food that you know gives you energy, not food that just gets you through the day.⁣
⁣
🤭Laugh with the people you love.⁣
⁣
Sit on the floor. Get back up. (If you can’t get back up without serious effort, that’s your sign, this matters.)⁣
⁣
📸 Take the photos
⁣
Please, get in the photos. ⁣
⁣
I know so many women who hide from the camera because they don’t like how they look, but your kids and grandkids won’t see your “flaws,” they’ll just see you, the person they love.⁣

How about with @tamicardaphotography who captured these sweet moments?

📸♥️Your heart will love @tamicardaphotography work.

You can grab your Valentine’s Day mini session with her here: https://tamicardaphotography.shootproof.com/booking/valentines-day-minis
⁣
Do these things not because you need to “fix” yourself.⁣
⁣
But because you want to be here, really here for all the moments that turn into a life.⁣
⁣
So don’t waste it feeling tired, stuck, or like your body’s working against you.⁣
⁣
From one tired, grateful mom and grandma to another:⁣
⁣
You’re worth it.♥️⁣

Exciting news! Sedric & Emily are having a BOY!! Due date July 5. Future golf pro and/or actuarial scientist. Couldn’t be more excited for this young family as they prepare for the arrival of their firstborn child. Amanda & I are excited and blessed to become grandparents!! They are also moving to Sioux Falls in a few months so they’ll be close! “May the Lord bless you and keep you, make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” @sedric.b @emilyn.barton @abartonsd #babybarton #brooksie #beeohbee

posting late AGAIN but determined to finish the year strong 💪🏼

here’s the month of SEPTEMBER! the month I was due to give birth, ushering in a new grief to have hit and passed that “milestone.” yet God has blessed us so abundantly I still will praise Him.

(lest I be misunderstood, I don’t necessarily mean physical or material blessings. mostly I mean what’s to come for us in glory. we are also blessed with insanely fantastic community. praising Him for that, too.)
