Sharing this experience completely raw because it sits on a level of its own.

Em can attest, I cried about 8-10 times throughout that day because my heart was full. My mind was quickly overcome with the thought of, “Nothing in this world matters more than your family.”

Now, the best way to describe my heart is that it felt, “a new.” It felt enduring - everlasting not temporary. Selfless - putting the needs of others before my own. Compassionate - having kindness, patience and understanding at all times. The most impactful characteristic that I felt, is that it was transformative. It completely changed my heart by inspiring me to be more righteous and to set even higher goals.

I soon connected the dots in realizing that this is exactly what charity is, where it’s been felt in two experiences prior (1. Getting sealed to Em in the temple. 2. Being an instrument for the Lord in baptizing his people). It’s the pure love that Christ has for the children of men and that the children of men should have for one another. It is the highest, noblest, and strongest kind of love and the most joyous to the soul.

My hope is that by having this experience engrained on my heart, I can now share this highest love with all I come in contact with.

Here’s to more love being spread and more sleepless nights that I wouldn’t want any other way... ❤️☺️
