PSA- Trans women, particularly trans women of color, are disproportionately likely to be the target of hate crimes. Receiving malice, fearing for your life (just for existing) is a dreaded part of living as an outwardly queer person. The responses can range from unsavory, to just plain unsafe. This means many, many, people die not living the life they want to live- in the body they want to live it in. I deeply admire the women that face an unkind world every day and despite it, LIVE.
This is also why creating queer spaces, like @djboywife @vrntmagazine and @unionbarathens did Wednesday, is so important. Thank you all for uplifting local drag and a new generation of queer people. And a HUGEE THANK YOU to everyone who supported my art!!!!
