This year's San Francisco Fall Show gave me countless treasures to behold, the inspiration of vignettes of beautiful interior design, and interesting panels with top design industry professionals speaking. Thank you Suzanne Tucker for making this happen as one of the nation's top events to promote the decorative arts and antiques. I was honored to be on your Design Council once again.#luxuryinteriordesign #artandantiques #antiquecollection

How much pattern is too much?

In this case… it seems there’s no such thing. 🤍

I’m completely in love with this room from Hunters Glen Residence, designed by @emilysummersdesign

My Laibik Small Print in Storm has been used across the walls, curtains and sofa, wrapping almost the entire room in one pattern — and yet the result feels wonderfully calm.

It’s such a beautiful example of how a small-scale print can almost become a neutral when used en masse, creating texture and rhythm rather than overwhelming a space.

Seeing one of my designs used with such confidence is incredibly special. 💙🤍

Would you be brave enough to take one pattern this far?

You know what’s even better than a good looking barstool? One that’s as comfy as it is pretty. Here’s a selection of faves 🍸

Last month we took our latest collections across Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York, meeting some of the most exciting design studios working in the US right now.

The reaction to our new fabric collections, along with our wider range of surface materials was extraordinary.

We now have a dedicated representative based in New York, formalising our US presence, working alongside our American clients and the broader design community. If you’re a designer or studio working on projects that demand the finest surface materials, we’d love to hear from you.

Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, were the locations for this year’s fabulous US study trip by the American Friends of Attingham. Brilliantly led by Attingham alumna and AFA Director @jenniferklos, the group enjoyed a wide-ranging programme that included private homes and remarkable collections, conversations with contemporary artists and an exceptional programme of behind-the-scenes access and expert-led tours.
Highlights included visits to the Dallas Museum of Art, the Kimbell Art Museum, the Meadows Museum and a fascinating exploration of Fair Park’s historic architecture.
In addition to Jennifer, we are hugely grateful to local alumni Katherine Seale, Jann Mackey, George Shackelford, Peter van de Moortel and Emily Summers

Digging around on Dropbox and stumbling on an old website folder from around 2013?? Most of these are pre 2010, or somewhere in that era. It’s pretty wild to see how things have changed. Some of these are film, some a mix of using a digital back on a 4x5(what was I thinking???🤷🏻‍♂️😂), and some with a 5d. Lighting styles and post processing styles have changed but I still like these exactly how they are. I’m a clueless idiot with photoshop but I try, and I see flaws in everything which is beautiful to me. I’m trying to learn how to embrace the imperfect again, let the shots speak to me the way they did before social media influence. Enjoy this trip down memory lane. Thanks to all people involved in creating this work, if I missed tagging you let me know. ❤️📸.

Our constant companion, “Puppy” by @jeffkoons, is a charmer all on his own. Known fondly around these parts as Cooper, this piece is also a vase. Swipe to see how @emilysummersdesign used it in an office with peonies. Good boy, Cooper!!
