Let's recap 💃🏼🪩

Emily had a total vision for how she wanted her engagement photos to look. She booked a historic Chicago location that fit the vibe she was going for, we had the entire place to ourselves and all I had to do was show up. During the engagement session her and Evan were naturals in front of the camera and the photos are living proof. Can’t wait for their wedding next year!

31. Still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I’m finally starting to figure out who I actually am.

I’ve made some bad choices, burned a few bridges, and I owe more than my fair share of apologies. If you’re one of those people—thank you for your patience. Some of you I’m hoping to reconnect with, but I’m learning not everyone is meant to stay around forever, and that’s okay.

I’m not a bad person, even if I’ve made bad mistakes. But I am doing the work, unlearning the crap, accepting my mental health without letting it run the show, and trying not to let every emotion become a major life decision (therapy is a gift everyone should have access to).

All I really want is love, not advice. Support, not influence. Humor, not hype. Growth, not perfection.

Being a human is incredibly hard. Being a human alive in 2025 is insane…and I finally understand what Natasha Beddingfied has been preaching at that dirty window all these years.

I’m forever learning, I’m not giving up and I’m pretty sure I’m still healing. This last year taught me so much and gave me more joy than I could see in the moment.

Here’s to 31: weird, imperfect, present, unfinished, more self-aware and finally honest.
