Needless to say (but I gotta!) last year didn’t find me in a city near you, being myself, sounding out. As a result I’m sitting on LPs and the last few “there never was an underground” and “trapping configuration” tapes. Many deals to be had. If you don’t use analog media you can’t get 20 digital releases for $41.50 on bandcamp (cheap?!) #experimentalmusic #avantgarde #noise #indianapolis

Eminent Observer releases 1-3 now in stock, along with the Daumier CS. Eminent Observer is a great new(ish) label from local Jack Davidson, releasing experimental sounds. the Sadnesses CS is a modern concrete release, not lacking any humor or fun. Reminiscent of points of Black Dice or a Boretronix tape, but maximum color. Hardworking Families CS is a great minimal sound poetry/tape recording. Warm low fidelity murmurs conjoined for a fitting piece. John Collins McCormick’s tape, Trapping Configuration visits and blends percussion and sound sources. (An excellent companion to his “ad for nails” LP released on @gilgongorecords this year!) The Daumier self releases CS is a perfect blend of all the chaotic punk of the late 90s and early 00s. FFO: Clean Plate Records, Dischord, Gravity Records & all the cool shit you forgot about.
