You all know how I love a tag or trend. 😏 And this one is so fun!! I loved thinking of choices for this one, starting with some books I loved when I was young, and then all the way to books I’m looking forward to. Also, my wedding anniversary was this past weekend, so it’s cute in that way, too!

Thanks so much to my friend @tiffsreadingcorner for tagging me in this! I’ve tagged some more people here I’d love to see do this, but obvies no pressure. Or if you’re just seeing this and want to do it… PLEASE DO! 🩵

Happy Sunday, babes!

Thanks for tuning in to this week’s Sunday Swoons! Because WHAT do you mean September is almost over?! I’m in utter shock, but at least I’ve had an absolutely stellar reading month so far. I’ve been reading about billionaires, alien cowboys, hockey players… and that’s just scratching the surface.

My husband and I were eating dinner last night and somehow got onto the topic of the literary crisis (he’s a teacher, so naturally we have Opinions™ about everything lol).

And he very cutely said, “If they think the literary crisis is because people are reading romance, they’ve obviously never met you or seen your books.”

And honestly? YES. THIS.

We need more supportive non-readers who understand that reading doesn’t have to look one specific way to be “good.” You don’t have to love romance. You don’t have to understand why I have 47 books on my nightstand. You don’t even have to read at all!

But yucking someone else’s yum because their preferred type of literature isn’t your preferred type of literature? Loser behavior.

I love my supportive king for recognizing that. And I just want to remind everyone: READ THE BOOK WITH THE KISSING IF YOU WANT.

Okay, now that I’m officially off my high horse…Y’ALL WANNA SWOON?!

Every week I compile a whole ass post of AMAZING content and posts that made me swoon, so please go give these babes some love!

Now go forth and have a cozy Sunday. Read something ridiculous. Read something spicy. Read something that makes you laugh. Read absolutely nothing if that’s what you need today.

Drink your water, take your meds, stay hydrated, mind your business, and remember: NO SUNDAY SCARIES!!

I mean yall know my love for Doomsdate! Stellar review!

Thank you @emjustreading for doing a giveaway and sending me this ARC copy of Kiss of the black flame. Now I get to read this a full month early, and I’m so excited! I took a bookbinding/fibers class in college and while it’s been awhile, it was a very fun class. I very much appreciate the work that goes into making books.📚❤️

Reader reviews of The Blue Moon Café & 24-Hour Occult Emporium consistently make me explode with joy and gratitude. Thank you to these early reviewers who took a chance on my cozy sapphic baby and saw its magical, earnest heart.

Special shout out to @tori_between_tales for loving this book so fiercely and making me realize that the book doesn’t belong to me anymore in the BEST way: it’s yours, *all* of yours

100 days left to go until ACOTAR 6 is released... and so far... we know nothing and since I'm not ready to leave Prythian just yet I've got my predictions ready, courtesy of @emjustreading

Feel free to screenshot to create your own or just DM Em directly for the Canva 😍

What do you think of my predictions...? A bit wild, a bit vague?

My thoughts
I was really looking forward to reading this one and it did not disappoint! I love the really simplistic cover and the gorgeous colours on it, I remember thinking the same thing of the last book I read by this author. She's definitely got a theme working for her!
This is a heartwarming romance set in Granada, the setting sounded beautiful, rustic and charming.
I feel like I learned a lot about the art world, its not something I know much about, sure I can appreciate a nice painting but there were lots described I'd never have thought of. I also learned about pomegranates, my husband eats them, but he buys the seeds rather than the fruit as a whole - who knew it was such a complicated fruit?!
While the focus here is the love story between Rafael and Grace, I feel like another key element is friendship. Rafael's sister Alma is Grace's best friend. While there is no denying she has been a great support to Grace through her past, there were a number of times I wanted to slap her here because I thought she was coddling Grace too much and causing anguish where it wasn't needed or wanted.
I loved the human elements such as Lucia's paintings and what Grace could see them representing.
Its a lovely read and I can see a wide audience enjoying it.

Author bio

Happy to be on the street team for 𝐋𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 by @authorktlocate 🖤

𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 July 24, 2026
𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐛
Before New York’s underworld crowned her First Lady, a beautiful starlet walked away from
a man who loved her.
Thirty years by the Don’s side have taught Flavia Sforza that beauty is a fortress and
loneliness its toll. These days, the woman who once melted camera lenses finds her only
solace in casinos she secretly rigs and tarot she can’t, because Death keeps dealing itself.
The undertaker stalking her orbit knows each restless ghost in her past, because he is one
of them. He has blueprints for her husband’s downfall, for her dynasty’s collapse, and for
the effigy he thinks she still is. Yet amid Connecticut’s winter chapels and the heat of
forbidden nights, Ruyan must confront the one clause he never anticipated: whether his
meticulously planned vengeance can survive the lure of the real, aging, complicated woman
behind a legend.
The question is no longer who will bury whom, but if a heart long encased in ice can beat
again before it’s placed on a slab in one of his own coffin beds.
