I shot the second picture of my friend harold hunter at the Brooklyn banks in about 1995. I loved Harold, such a funny, talented, eclectic, kind soul. If he was on the session or wherever he had a fuckin funny, clever, fun vibe. I miss him. But today,,, Eli gesner @ocularge posted this picture ,,, which I have never seen or knew about. My henna haired ass shooting said picture with my Nikon fm2, 16mm nikor and sunpack flash on tri x. What a surprise to see this documentary image. Thanks for sharing Eli. Brings back great memories of my time shooting and skating in nyc and the fun we all had at the banks. Was a ripe time for a lot of ripping down there. - pang, hickey, Suski, huff, frank n, giovani, lokey, The cardona brothers, Justin Pierce, mike Hernandez, Ivan Perez, m con, the keefe brothers, Pete bicci, Hamilton, Jamie story, Harold and the list goes on. Speaking of scanning...
As I have been consolidating (dusting of) my archives, I finally put all my films from 1995 to 1996 trips to NYC (and Philly and Pittsburgh) in hopes of making something out of it...
My home scanner definitely not cutting it when it comes to color slides (too dense for it to cut through), I dropped a selection at @tutti_print for those to get the drum scan treatment.
Knowing that Nour-Eddine is on it, I can rest on both ears, as he is a master of his craft. That or plot what do with those, now...

As the vast majority of the city is -rightfully so- on strike, the Big Search continues...
And, in a little cloud of Pixy dust, or plain ol' toxic waste, this just popped up! This that might be refered to as the Magic Slide Box from now on, as it pretty much stay true to it's marking, with a few misplaced other gems. So, yep, pictures I remember taking, but thought had been lost by magazines they were sent to back then, and even stuff I had zero recollection of ever taking...
Stay tuned!
Looks like @tutti_print will be busy next week...

Couldn’t ask for a better team to finally deliver this enormous dining table. Everything went as smoothly as it possibly could have, in no small part due to these guys. Stay tuned for some beauty shots of the completed table tomorrow!! #fieldstoneartistry #diningtable #delivery #adirondacks #handmadebusiness
