The Store opens October 14.

In the wild, blackwater streams are built from the forest floor: fallen leaves, seed pods, roots and wood slowly releasing tannins into the water. That's the world wild bettas and so many other fish evolved in.

Blackwater Scapes brings that world to your aquarium. Natural botanicals, carefully sourced and curated, plus guides to prepare them the right way.

It's Puerto Rico's first shop dedicated to natural botanicals for blackwater aquariums, terrariums and paludariums: leaves, seed pods, cones, bark and wood, picked by hand for real habitats.

Join the email list (link in bio) and get 10% off your first purchase.

Follow @blackwaterscapes so you don't miss it.

Friday are for #SnackFriday!

Every Friday, share your animals enjoying live foods, frozen foods, insects, larvae, worms, or other natural snacks.

Fish, reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and other curious feeders are all welcome.

Remember to use #SnackFriday and tag @blackwaterscapes so we can celebrate natural feeding behavior, enrichment, and the wild instincts that make our animals so fascinating.

Let's the hunt begin.
