I don’t even know how to begin to say goodbye to a sport that I’ve been playing nonstop for 6 years other than that these have been the best years of my life. This sport has given me everything I could have asked for and much more: from younger and older sisters and many memories from out-of-state tournaments to drawing on the whiteboard in the office. I will miss every moment I’ve had on and off the floor and I’m sure I’ll have many late nights wishing I could play just one more point. There isn’t any group of girls I would have rather spent my last season with, and I know everyone is going to go on to do great things.
On to the next big thing. Thank you volleyball and my village that has helped me all these years.

Today I’m feeling more grateful than I can put into words. Sometimes life forces us to slow down, to be patient, and to fight battles we never expected to face. These types of moments show us how strong we truly are. To anyone going through a hard time right now, keep going. You are stronger than you know, and can overcome anything.
