There are no words to explain how much this studio has impacted my life. I’m truly so grateful to be apart of something that makes me feel so alive. I just wanted to say thank you to Chali and all the other staff for being there for me, supporting me, and making me the dancer that I am today. I also want to say thank you to my family and friends for pushing me to be the best that I can be and just being there to support me every time. Thank you to all the seniors that danced alongside me this year, thank you for loving me through anxiety, fatigue, and sore muscles! Having yall to lean on this year made it even more special than I could imagine. Linley and Kinsley, I blinked and 15 years went by, thank you for your friendships and your encouragement and of course all the laughs through these past 15 years. To Ava, thank you for always being the positivity that seemed to find me when I needed it the most. To Gavin, I loved getting to dance with you even if it was just for 1 year 🤣 no really, it meant the world to me to dance beside you; I am so thankful to call you one of my best friends. To Abbi, wow, why did we wait til senior year to do a duet 🔥 Your kindness alone kept me going on bad days and I can’t wait to continue to dance with you!
So thank you, @thedancecollective_ , for being my safe place, my dance it out space, my confidence builder, my “it’s not always about the win”, my place that taught me that I can pursue my dreams, and the place that proved to me that hard work, discipline, respect, self improvement, and joy creates a dancer 🫶🏻
