💜 Grampian Stage Dance Festival | Day 4 💜

What an absolutely stellar end to an already fantastic day! ✨

Three of our team took to the stage for the Junior Modern Pre-Championships and, after a full-on day of dancing, made their way through three rounds — with ALL THREE reaching the final! 🌟

And then came the most amazing results…

🏆 Emma Chambers
✨ Junior Modern Pre-Champ Champion

🥈 Georgia Brown
✨ Junior Modern Pre-Champ Runner-Up

✨ Grace Anderson
✨ 4th Junior Modern Pre-Champs

What a way for Emma to round off her Junior journey — a very special moment and a goal well and truly ticked! 💜

Goals ticked all round for these three. The hard work, determination and commitment really showed on that stage.

Three finalists. A Champion. A Runner-Up. And a 4th place. What an ending to a very long but brilliant day!

So incredibly proud of you all. 💜✨

And here they are…our final post (maybe) of the entire Global Dance Open World Championships. 🥹💜

🥇 GLOBAL DANCE OPEN WORLD CHAMPIONS 🥇

Intermediate Musical Theatre Group

Those Guys & Dolls 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This really was one of the most special moments of the entire week.

For one last time, the full Team Stenhouse company, joined by a couple of our wonderful friends from Hunter School of Dance, took to the stage together… and they absolutely blew it out of the park!

Those Guys & Dolls became Global Dance Open World Champions. 🥇

But as incredible as this Gold Medal was, it represented so much more than a title.

Throughout this unforgettable week, every single dancer played their part in Team Stenhouse’s story. Some stood on the top of the podium, some won silver or bronze, some finished agonisingly close in 4th or 5th, but every single performance mattered. Every dancer contributed, every routine meant something, and together they created an extraordinary journey.

To finish our very first Global Dance Open Finals with our entire company on stage together felt like the perfect ending.

To think that every single member of Team Stenhouse left San Sebastián as a Global Dance Open World Champion is something I still can’t quite believe. It is utterly remarkable.

This is a moment I don’t think I will ever forget. My heart is so very full, and I couldn’t be prouder of every dancer, every family, our incredible staff, our fundraising team, Gerard, Lesley, Miss Debbie and our wonderful friends from Hunter School of Dance and everyone who supported us from home.

Still crying!

What. A. Team. 💜🥇✨

And the results just kept getting better as another trio slipped out of prize giving and headed to the other stage.. 🤯💜

🌍 Global Dance Open 🌍
🌍 4TH IN THE WORLD 🌍
Teen Jazz Trio
Abigail, Isabella & Emma 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Another incredible result in that hugely talented international Teen Jazz section!
To finish 4th in the World is phenomenal, but to have Team Stenhouse take two of the top five places in such an outstanding field is simply remarkable.

Abigail, Isabella and Emma performed with power, precision and style, and we’re so proud to see their hard work rewarded with such an incredible result.

What an achievement, girls! 💜✨

Step by Step to Spain 🏴➡️🇪🇸✨ Sponsored Walk Fundraiser
Sunday 5th July (Weather permitting)

Our 21 dancers from Stenhouse Performing Arts are proudly representing Scotland at the Global Dance Open Finals 2026 in San Sebastián, and we’re now into the final stages of our fundraising journey.

We’ve been completely overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown so far—thank you to everyone who has supported our team. 💜

Our next challenge is a sponsored walk through some of Falkirk’s most iconic landmarks, from Callendar House to The Kelpies, finishing at The Falkirk Wheel. As well as raising vital funds, it’s a wonderful opportunity for our dancers to spend valuable time together as a team outside the studio.

If you have a moment, please read our story and, if you’re able, consider sponsoring our journey. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make this incredible opportunity possible for our dancers.
