A look into Elise and Neels colorful September wedding!

Over the years, one of the biggest things I’ve learned is that a good timeline changes everything.

I’ve spent years perfecting timelines in a way that creates space. Space to breathe, be present, hug your people a little longer, sneak away for a quiet moment together, and fully experience the day instead of rushing through it.

The truth is, when a wedding day is built with intention, everything flows better. The moments become more natural. The emotions feel less forced. And you actually have the freedom to live in the moments instead of constantly looking at the clock (I will take your phone away if you be looking at that clock).

The best photos and videos happen when you feel the day and not when you’re being rushed through it!

Wedding Days can be hectic but here is how to prevent it…

What I love about weddings is the variety of what each one can bring. Some are super laid back while others are go go go. Some you’re getting screamed at by a mom and while others your getting screamed at by stepmom.

No matter what the wedding day brings here are my top 3 things I like to do with couples before the weddings day.

1.Timeline Meeting
2. Set expectations
3. Emphasize that Hide Aways are important

Doing these three things have allowed truly all my couples peace in mind knowing that no matter what happens I got them and I will take care of them. They know I am going to provide space for them to just breathe and enjoy the day. The goal is to build a relationship where they can just be them and not have to worry about anything and if something pops up they know “Kendrick got it”.

Hey friends! My name is Emma Elise Smith, and I am excited to share that I have started my own photography business! I’ve been a creative my whole life in various ways and am thrilled to document all things visual culture on this account. Moments becoming memories is quite a gift for us all to receive. We are each made in Christ’s image, and that is worth capturing.

A fun fact about me is that I am half deaf and half hearing (hard-of-hearing), and I know American Sign Language! 🤟🏼 I am a UGA alumna, where I created my own major in the Interdisciplinary Studies program called Cultural Studies, with an emphasis in Deaf Culture! 🤍
