Today starts the week of lasts, and this one is probably going to be the hardest. When the Lord put it on my heart to start this Bible study about three years ago, I didn’t know all the reasons why or what it should look like. But looking back, all that matters is that I said yes. When God tells you to “go” you go, and take a leap of faith blindly trusting He’ll take it from there. I also knew I couldn’t do it alone, and that’s when I called up Rusty one random afternoon. Her response was “yep, I’m in” with no hesitation. What started as a little nudge from the Holy Spirit grew into the biggest part of my college experience that words can’t even begin to describe. After I prayed us out for the final time this evening, I said to her “look what God did with us and this study”, because without Him it wouldn’t have been possible. I know lives have been changed because of this group of women who came together every Tuesday evening after a long day of class and practice and decided to prioritize their relationship with Jesus and one another. We’re not made to do life alone, and I’ve had the honor, privilege, and blessing of doing life with these girls for the past two years. May this only be the start of the work that God does on and through this team. AMEN!!!
