Opiates are one of the leading causes of death. Why? They require you to increase your dose on a regular basis. They slow your heart rate and one day your heart just stops if you take too much.

But these are approved and considered “safe” short term in our medical model. When in any kind of heavy pain, nothing keeps you sane. Short term becomes long term and increasing doses which makes you a number in “The Opioid Crisis”. I found a way out with my dignity in tact and miraculously using plant medicine that has contributed to ZERO deaths.
According to most physicians,
Zero deaths= Danger
Crisis level deaths =Safe. 🤦🏻‍♀️

What’s wrong with our system? And why should you have to self treat to break free from the brutal cycle our medical model puts us in? Why does a pain clinic on serve to keep you in the cycle instead of coaching you OUT of dependency?

Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. 4 years and 5 months Opiate Free. 💃🎉🌱

There are a lot of things I’m proud of in this life, but choosing to advocate for myself so my family could still have a healthier mom, wife, daughter and friend. I am freaking proud of overcoming the vicious cycle I believe was ultimately intended to lead to my demise.

We beat the system and I feel better than I have since I was 16yo. Drug💊-free. ❤️
